Giving Thanks

This Thanksgiving week, Patrick, part of the Turtle & Hughes Integrated Supply team, spent a night sleeping on the streets of Atlantic City, NJ, with nothing more than a cardboard box to protect him from cold temperatures. He did it to stand in solidarity with the more than two million young people across the country that will experience homelessness this year.
 
Sleep Out, sponsored by Covenant House, is a national movement to end youth homelessness. Patrick helped raise funds that will be used to house, feed and educate area youths.
 
“I have been very fortunate and I give thanks for everything I have in life,” says Patrick. “I hope that the money I raised for a night of being cold has a positive impact on a teenager’s life. I know that I view teenage homelessness a little differently after this experience.”
 
Patrick is one of hundreds of Turtle & Hughes employees that we give thanks for this holiday season.

Rockwell Training: ControlLogix Fundamentals and Troubleshooting

Join us from February 26 – March 2 in Linden for a course intended for individuals who need to maintain and troubleshoot a ControlLogix system—but have no current working experience. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to troubleshoot a previously operational ControlLogix system and restore it to normal operation. 3 - 6 to 3 - 9

Rockwell Training: Studio 5000 Logix Designer: Project Development

Join us from March 6 – 9 in Commack. Upon completion of this course, given a functional specification for a Logix5000 application, you should be able to develop a project to meet the requirements of the specification. Covering tasks common to the following controllers: ControlLogix, CompactLogix and Softlogix. 3 - 20 to 3 - 21

Rockwell Training: PowerFlex 750 Series Configuration and Start-up

Join us from March 20 – 21 in Linden. Upon completion of this course, given a wired PowerFlex 750-Series drive and AC motor, you will be able to start up the drive and configure drive parameters to meet application needs. You will have the chance to use a variety of hardware and software tools, including the A6 LCD HIM, DriveExecutive software, and DriveExplorer software.
